Who doesn’t love cherries, especially in July and August when they are fresh and you can buy them at the local farm market or produce stand down the road?! Who wouldn’t love to think of cherries all year round?! You can with this Cherry Red Cabinet. We took it from dingy, garage kept and dirty to Cherry Red.
The before really was bad. It was just dirty. These photos are after we started to clean it up. The top and sides got a good sanding with the belt sander. The inside cleaned with a good soap and vinegar solution to make it ready for any home.
I knew immediately when I saw “Cherry On Top” color that it was the one for this piece. You’ll agree I’m sure.
Painted with chalk paint, lightly distressed and give new antique brass pull handles. I even found a great basket for the cabinet underneath. It had doors at the beginning of it’s life but those were long gone when I found it.
I imagine this as a toy chest. A bunch of legos in the basket or beyblades or pokemon. The two drawers would be easy for little fingers to open and find more toys!
Now if you are updating an office a printer would sit great on top and your pencils and scissors and rubber bands and stuff can go in the drawers. The basket can hold notebooks or magazines.
It’s even perfect if you want storage in a bathroom or even as a nightstand. This little dresser is so versatile. Can’t you see it in your home? It’s for sale!
